January 1 - 2012 Q & A

I thought I would do a Q&A to sum things up:

So, glad to see 2011 gone?  

Yes.

Did you find a house yet?

No.

Will you ever find a house?

[sobbing] [I miss having a yard!]

Do you and Matt still dance?

Well, yes and no.  We have not danced in a while because there are few venues to simply do social dancing.  We still go to Waltz balls but even those are disappearing.  Because we have no where to go out dancing, we are starting to forget everything we knew.

Did you get your degree in health education?

Yes I did.  Then I found out that it is not that useful because it does not qualify me to take the certification exam.

What will you do?

Well, looking for a house has taken up a lot of time.  But when I have time, I hope to start a business teaching people how to eat right and cook healthy.

Are you going to get certified as a personal trainer?

I'd like to. But alas, the house situation needs to be resolved first.

Do you miss being creative?

Yes yes yes.  School took up a lot of time in my life and I had to set it aside.  I hope to get back to being creative when I can.  Writing helps.  Cooking is creative too.  That is why I do so much of it.

How are your cats?

Spoiled.  Boo is losing her teeth and Izzy is just a guy.

Do you still watch hockey?

Yes. Go Pens!

Where are you going on your next vacation?

Hawaii.  Marriott sucked us in.

What else is new?

I am changing my hair style.  I get bored very easily.

What are you reading?

"The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford"

Who is your favorite new band?

I don't have one.  New music just does not do it for me.  (recommendations welcome)

Who is your favorite old band?

Foo Fighters

Zip lines.  No, I do not think I can jump out of a plane.

Where would you like to go?

Mongolia, Svalbard, the Amazon, Italy, Iceland and Greenland, Botswana or South Africa, Croatia, Peru, Japan, Australia, Costa Rica, Jordan to see Petra, (really the list is never ending)

Do you still have a closet full of coats?

Yes.  But I was good and I did not buy one this year.  (Not yet anyway.)

What is the last movie you saw?

The Muppets and we also saw The Descendants.  We miss going to the movies but we never seem to have time.  When will they deliver them to our t.v.?

Is there justice in this world? 

No really.  But I'd like to think so.

What else do you need to accomplish?

I'd like to be arrested on civil disobedience charges but I will probably get hauled away when I go nuts at the  airline security checkpoint.

Who is the funniest person on t.v?  

Stephen Colbert.  Bar none.  I nearly peed myself when he was dancing a ballet.

So you watch t.v.?  

Only Colbert and Project Runway and the news.

Why do you watch the news?

I don't know.  It has been bloody depressing.
