December 7 - A Merry Tuba Christmas
Every year the Kennedy Center has the Merry Tuba Christmas, where tuba players from the area get together to play Christmas songs. To see a song, click here. This event actually takes place all over the country. We enjoy it and we had not been for a while so off we went.
It was pouring rain and Matt insisted we take the Metro so we would not be stuck in traffic. I hate the metro and prefer to drive but I agreed. We walked through a driving rain with winds turning the umbrella inside out more than once.
The concert lasted an hour. When it was over it was time for dinner so we walked through more driving rain to Circle Bistro. They have good food and we enjoyed a nice dinner while we dried out.
