December 14 - Arena Stage

When I go to plays, my rule is that if I do not like it, I leave at intermission.  Life is too short for bad plays.   I will not remember this a year from now but the play You Nero was so bad, we left.  Arena Stage has three separate venues.  As we were leaving we saw people leaving the other play, Equivocation, in droves.  I stopped a couple who was leaving and asked them if they were sneaking out at intermission.  They admitted that they were skipping out on what was a very boring play.  That was good for us to know because we had tickets to see it and this just bought us a free night.  So we exchanged information on our plays and encouraged them to skip that one too.
